Hi all, this is here for historical purposes. It's a really old game made in a weekend, so expect it to be pretty bad!
Dr. Helix was made in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare game jam, and was originally released in April 2013. It's a game about a maintenance man at an art gallery, his restoration robots are set on Minimalist mode, and they're ruining the paintings. He has to go into the paintings to get them back.
WHY WE MADE IT
This game was made for Ludum Dare 26, and the theme was Minimalism. Our grand plan was to do something very different with the theme, hence the mad idea of minimalism restoration robots and jumping into paintings. This was the first Ludum Dare we worked as a team, so we did face quite a few issues. None of us are happy with the execution of this game, but we are uploading here for historical records.
CONTROLS & HELP
Arrow Keys to Move. Space Bar to Fire. Use Arrows and Space to Pick Up and Drop items.
The controls are a pain, and we're sorry. You will just have to get through it as best you can. I really struggle to finish this one myself, I think we made it too hard.
